Privacy Policy
Last updated June 4, 2026
Moose Ventures, LLC (“Moose Ventures,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through mooseventures.com (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or submitting information to us, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit a pitch or otherwise contact us through the Site, we collect the details you choose to share — typically your name, company, email address, a link to your deck or website, your stage and sector, and a short summary of what you are building. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider and infrastructure automatically log basic technical data when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and the date and time of your request. This is used to operate and secure the Site.
Cookies and local storage. The Site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We store a small preference in your browser (for example, your selected color theme) on your device only; it is not transmitted to us or used to identify you.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Review pitches and evaluate potential investment opportunities;
- Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you;
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not use the information you submit for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human review.
Data retention
We retain the information you submit for as long as needed to evaluate your inquiry, maintain our business records, and comply with our legal obligations. We may keep pitch materials in our records even if we do not pursue an opportunity, so we have context if you reach out again. You may ask us to delete your information as described below.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information (such as financial account or government ID numbers) through the Site.
Your choices and rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have provided, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing us at the address below. We will respond consistent with applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
US state privacy rights. Depending on your state of residence (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and others), you may have additional rights — including the right to know or access the personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion, and to not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is no “sell or share” opt-out to exercise. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
The Site links to third-party websites, including our portfolio companies and social profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
International visitors
We are based in the United States and operate the Site here. If you access the Site or submit information from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
